I’m LaToya. A mom, aunt, puzzle lover, marathoner, leader, research manager, and research auditor. Whew! I wear many hats. But my true passion is helping people. I LOVE to help people be the best version of themselves. At Why To Success, we exist to create quality products and services that help everyday people build success in their lives. We develop tools and strategies to design personalized action plans focusing on your “Why” (purpose), your passion, and your desired progress.
The chaos before the calm
My life changed drastically in the Fall of 2017. A long-term relationship ended violently, I purchased a new home, started a master’s program, and my niece was academically struggling and needed additional structure. Even though I was in a huge transition in my life, I jumped at the chance to have her live with me. I wanted to help her in any way I could. Plus, I was living alone in a 4-bedroom house. I had more than enough room for her.
All of a sudden, heartbreak and overwhelm surrounded me. HOW WAS I GOING TO GET THROUGH THIS? I decided to go back to systems that worked for me in the past. At my core, I am a very driven goal-oriented person. So, I fell back on the positive, productive habits and goals which came naturally to me. Fast forward 2 years. I graduated and my niece was thriving. Life was just falling into place. The chaos I felt a few short years before had melted away.
Through this situation, I learned 2 things: 1) there is always a way to get through any situation. Sometimes you may go around, hop over, dive under or just walk straight through but there is always a way. 2) If I could get through this, I am sure I could help someone else get through their tough situations.
How we can help
In early 2020, my passion for helping people drove me to launch goal-setting parties for those wanting more guidance through their goal success journey. The focus was on how to set and achieve goals. In this communal setting, women came together, let their guard down, and were vulnerable with one another. Some for the very first time. Hence, a perfect atmosphere to learn more about themselves and break free from what was holding them back.
Shortly after, the service portfolio expanded to include individual and small group goal consulting sessions to help people who wanted a more personalized experience. Thus, Why To Success has a tiered-level consulting approach that will work for everyone. We would be thrilled to share our passion with you.
